Avotrin Emulgel is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used topically to relieve pain and inflammation in muscles and joints.
It contains an active ingredient that reduces pain caused by chronic or acute inflammation such as arthritis, muscle aches, and sports injuries.
It helps relieve joint pain caused by osteoarthritis, especially in the joints of the hands, elbows, knees, and feet, providing rapid relief and increased flexibility.
Indications:
Treatment of joint pain caused by arthritis or osteoarthritis.
Relief from actinic keratosis.
Relief from muscle and joint pain resulting from strain or minor injuries.
Directions for Use:
Apply two to four times daily to the affected area (hands, wrists, elbows, knees, ankles, or feet).
Recommended Dosage:
Upper Extremities (hands, wrists, elbows): 2 g each time. Lower extremities (knee, ankle, foot): 4g at a time.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose of 8g for the upper joint and 16g for the lower joint.
Gently massage the gel until fully absorbed. Wash hands after use.
Warnings and precautions:
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
Do not use if you have a history of asthma or an allergy to aspirin or other anti-inflammatory drugs.
Do not use if you are under 18 years of age.
Consult your doctor before use if you have:
Heart disease, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol.
Diabetes, liver disease, or kidney disease.
A stomach ulcer or bleeding.
Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Do not use before or after coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery.
